In the evening, the sun sets behind Jimbaran bay and the silhouettes of fishing boats. As night falls, the island comes to life again in the twinkle of lights and you can see Planes arriving and taking off silently at the distant airport.

There is always a pleasant breeze that greets the visitors of The Jewel, which is located in the secured state called “crown of the isle”

This Villa definitely deserves to be called The Jewel of the crown. It’s has four bed rooms, each in a different color scheme and named and designed around a jewel: emerald, ruby, blue sapphire and amethyst.

This modern villa, designed by Bali’s star architect Popo Danes has all the amenities you can expect. It’s the perfect place to stay with a large family.

The villa has a separate spa treatment room, a media room, a lap pool, garden and sun decks, in short, everything you need to pamper your self and enjoy a fabulous holiday.

Guest Information

Meals & Drink

Breakfast included in your villa stay and will be cooked by the chef on request between 8.00 am & 10.30 am. Breakfast includes a continental selection plus your choice from a selection of cooked item. Breakfast is served at the dining table.
2 bottles of drinking water are provides for each room, each day.
On arrival a selection of complimentary drink is provide in the drink fridge.
Guest can purchase their own food and drink from the local supermarket or convenience stores and use the kitchen facilities to cook meals and snack.

Telephone & Internet

Guest will be supplied with two mobile phones to use when staying at the villa. The phones are supplied on a user pay basis and can be used to make local and international calls. At the beginning of the stay at the villa, each phone will be charged with Rp.25.000. This will last for approximately 30 minutes call. A 5 minute call to Australia will cost approx 40,000 Rupiah.

Internet access is not available at the villa. Guests can visit the local internet cafe, approximately 5 minutes drive from the villa Jimbaran.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning

Clothe bins (square) are provide in each room,next to the entry door. Clothed placed into these bins will be washed and drayed and folded and returned to your room the next day.This service is complimentary, however,NO responsibility is accepted for lost and damage items of clothing by either the villa staff or villa owners. Please only place those items in the clothes basket that may be tumble dried.

The villa has a new Phillips Iron and Brabantina Ironing board for your use.

Dry cleaning is also available on request of the house staff. Items for dry cleaning will be taken to the dry cleaners by the house staff and returned by house staff to the villa as soon as ready. The guest is responsible for payment of this service plus a 20% service fee on the dry cleaning cost, payable to the staff.

Villa has full time: One Villa Manager, One Chef, Maid & Spa Treatment, Two villa attendant, Two security 24 hours.

IN YOUR ROOM
– Airconditioning
The LG artcool units are set at 20 degrees. They will operate continuously unless you choose to turn them off. The remote control is located in the top drawer of the bedside table. You may choose to turn it off at night times, and sleep with the cool night breeze or have it operate on fan only. The up and down arrow keys alter the temperature, and once the aircon has reached this temperature, it will click on and off. Please see the house staff for further assistance.

– TV and DVD
Each bedroom has its own TV and DVD which can also play music CDS. The remote is located in the top bedside drawer. The Remote will operate the Television only. There is an additional DVD remote. The villa has a library of cds in the lounge room near the main system, and DVDs downstairs in the media room. Better still, buy your favourites and the latest movies out for only 10,000 Rupiah (about AUD$1.40) from the many shops in Kuta and around. Indovision cable TV is located in the media room TV only. It has access to CNN, Discovery, Disney and Sports stations, to name a few.

– Safe
The Emerald & Sapphire Suites are equipped with a digital safe, located in the walk in robe. To operate, punch in an 8 digit number, re enter and close… Ask the staff for assistance if required.

– Phone
All rooms have a mobile phone for private use, and the villa has a mobile phone for staff use and contact of the staff by the guest.

– Towels
Towels are replaced fresh everyday by the house staff. Each room has 4 bath towels. Should you require additional towels, please see the house staff.

– Fire Extinguisher & Smoke Detector
The villa has 3 fire extinguishers and 4 smoke detectors fitted for your safety. The fire extinguishers are located in the walk in robe of the Emerald & Sapphire suites and in the staff kitchen, next to the main kitchen. In the event of a fire, please alert fellow housemates and staff and quickly make your way out to the road. The house staff will call the firebrigade.

– Spa Products
Each room is provided with shampoo & conditioner, soaps, body wash, body lotion and bath oil for the Emerald & Sapphire suites. These have been custom designed for the villa and feature essential oils in natural bases. They are replenished daily by the house staff.

– Smoking
Smoking inside the villa is not allowed. Ashtrays are provided on the balconys of the Emerald & Sapphire Suites, and by the outdoor pool area and bale. Please strictly adhere to this policy for the comfort of future guests and the safety of the villa.

TELEPHONE
* Guests will be supplied with two mobile phones to use when staying at the Villa. The phones are supplied on a user pays basis and can be used to make local and international calls. At the beginning of the stay at the Villa, each phone will be charged with Rp 50,000. This will last for approximately 30 minutes of local calls, much less for international calls. A 5 minute call to Australia will cost approx 40,000 Rupiah.

* Topping up phone credits The mobile phones can be topped up with additional credits by purchasing phone cards from the service provider. The cards are available in increments of Rp50,000 and Rp100,000. The full value of the cards will transferred onto the phones providing the best value to the Villa guests. Just ask the house staff to assist with topping up the mobile phone credits. Alternatively, you can top up at any Pro XL provider, they are everywhere.
* Unused phone credits at the end of the stay will be lost.
* If the guests loses a mobile phone, there will be a charge of US$150.00 to replace it.
* Internet Access – we have wireless internet access available at the villa for 100,000 Rupiah per day, please bring your own laptop.

ENTERTAINMENT
– Guitar
If you can play guitar, then please do! Putu one of our house staff likes to play, as does Sueca, one of the security guards. Ask them to join you after they finish work one day! A previous house guest loved to play so much he bought the guitar in Bali and gave it to the villa for future musical guests to use. Enjoy!! Perhaps you would like to purchase a locally made wooden drum and really make some music!

– CD Player
The lounge area of the villa has a Pioneer surround sound system to play your favourite music. You can play what you want, when you want and at the moment because we have no neighbours, as loud as you want. As soon as we have neighbours, we will need to consider their needs! Please feel free to use the CDs in our library, but they are so cheap in Bali, buy your own and play them. Music makes you feel alive, happy and on holidays. Fill the villa with your favourite sound.

MEALS AND DRINKS

* 2 bottles of drinking water are provided for each room, each day.

* Our great chef is now fulltime and included in your stay. He can assist with the purchase of food items and cook them for you. The guest will be required to provide enough cash up front to make the purchase plus a taxi fare if no car is available.
* Additionally, many restaurants deliver.

* All food left in the Villa after the visit will be offered to local charities.

LAUNDRY

* The Villa is equipped with a new Electrolux Front Loader Washing Machine & Electrolux Dryer.

OUTDOORS

– Out door Shower
Admire the stunning sunset from the outdoor shower located in the grounds outside the Emerald room. Designed as an after pool shower, previous guest have enjoyed the privacy of an outdoor shower to start the day or prior to getting ready for dinner. What fabulous views from the shower!

– Pool and Garden Service
The pool is serviced 3 times a week by the contractor and falling leaves and flowers are collected daily by the house staff. The garden is serviced daily by Marta, our gardener. The grounds are swept twice daily by the security staff. If something is not to your liking with either pool or garden, please advise Rudi, the villa manager.

– Pool Towels
New pool towels are put out each morning by the house staff for each guest to use during the day. If you need additional pool towels, please the house staff. If you go to the beach during your stay in Bali, you may take a pool towel but it must be returned. The house staff will check you towels in and out of the villa. A lost pool towel is $20 US to replace.

MASSAGE

Enjoy 60 minutes of massage, using special blends of essential oils from Balis own spices & flowers. Our therapists use a variety of techniques to relax every day muscular tensions to relax the whole body, the heart & the mind.

– The Diamonds & Pearls Treatment
Full Body Massage 1 and half hours : Rupiah 200,000
The longer massage gives the therapist the extra time to work and deeply relax specific areas of tension and stress. This treatment ends with a soak in a fragrant, warm flower filled bath as you take in the beautiful view, day or night, and sip on a cup of herbal tea.

– The Royal Tiara Treatment
Exfoliation Massage 2 hours : Rupiah 250,000
This treatment begins with an hour long Balinese massage, then the body is painted with a coffee body scrub gel, which has tiny grains of coffee beans to exfoliate the skin. The gel is then wiped away, and a soak in the flower bath follows. After a dry down, frangiapani body lotion is applied to finally soften the skin and leave a beautiful fragrance.

TRANSPORT
– Car & Driver
The knowledge that a car & driver sits waiting for you outside, ready to take you anywhere on the island is very special. For 12 hours a day usage, we can arrange a 2005, 7 seater Suzuki APV with dual airconditioning and an english speaking, knowledgeable friendly driver for only 350,000 rupiah per day. If you are happy with an older vehicle, the price can be from as little as 250,000 rupiah per day. To arrange this service, please call Galung, our villa driver, and he can arrange 1 or more vehicles for as many or as few days as you need. His number is programmed in the villa mobile phones. – Taxi
The bluebird taxi company is the nicest service to use on the island. They mostly all know the Tiara Nusa Private Estate where The Jewel is located. Their number has been programmed into the villa mobile phones. Allow about 15 minutes for arrival time from calling. A taxi to Kuta can take 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on exactly where you want to go, if you bump into a ceremony on the way, or the time of day! A taxi to Kuta Square art market, a good place to be dropped for shopping, costs around 50,000 rupiah and a taxi to Nusa Dua to restaurants or water sports, costs around 50,000 rupiah one way.

VILLA STAFF AND SECURITY
– Villa Staff and Guest Privacy
Our team are there to make your holiday everything you want it to be. Should you require complete privacy at any time during your stay, please advise our staff of your individual needs. We have live in staff quarters for our staff, so should you want the villa 100% to yourself, they are only a phone call away from your villa mobile phone to their villa mobile phone. Just ring The Jewel Villa or 081 933 055 068 and we will be there to assist you.

– Villa Security
The villa has staff in attendance 24 hours per day. One security shift starts at 4.00pm to midnight. The next shift is from midnight to 8.00am. The duty of the security guards is to assist the house staff in the daylight hours, sweep around the garden, and turn villa lights on and off in the night & day. They will also turn the pool lights on and off, and will do hourly patrols of the grounds to ensure your safety. They will remain posted outside the front door during the night. The front gate will remain closed at all times. The villa staff, either house, security or driver, will open and close the gate as required and take note of who is coming and going. If you have a special guest coming, please advise the house staff.

Location

Villa Jewel is a luxury four-bedroom villa built on 800 square metres of absolute cliff top land within the Tiara Nusa private secure estate in Goa Gong on the northern side of Bali’s Bukit peninsula just 20 minutes from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport. The villa has one of the best views in Bali and looks north over the whole of the island from one side of the ocean to the other. The villa is perfectly located with access to many great amenities and attractions all within a 20 minutes drive. The Bukit is one of Bali’s most upmarket areas and houses many of Bali’s best five star hotels and resorts, including Bvlgari, Four Seasons, Karma Kandara and St Regis. It is also home to some of Bali’s best beaches, two championship golf courses and a swathe of top quality bars and restaurants. While trendy Seminyak and all its fashionable restaurants, bars and boutiques is only 25 minutes north of the villa.
